8 Ball Motorcycle Tire’s first location opened in San Diego, CA in 2016. The brainchild of Ken Wahlster and Rob Fischlowitz, the shop focused on being a totally new experience for motorcycle riders; a motorcycle shop dedicated to doing one thing (motorcycle tires) and being the best at it. Ken and Rob had both worked in the motorcycle industry for years and wanted to create something different. Something that harkened back to the lost personality of the neighborhood motorcycle shop, but also provided socialized service for a specialty product that couldn’t be provided over the internet or at a “big box: motorcycle dealer. 8 Ball was designed to be the best at one thing, motorcycle tires.
